Reading Log #1

Brooks Max. The Zombie Survival Guide, New York: Three Rivers Press, 2003

My book is a creative non-fiction how-to guide about how to survive an infestation of zombies. I know that this book is this type of genre because of the way the book is set up and the title of the book says its a guide. The reason this book attracted me so much was the fact that it was entirely about zombies! I love the idea of zombies. From reading this book I have learned many different things on how to survive if there ever was a viral outbreak of the undead. One of the most important things I've learned is how excellent a school can be when used as a fortress against zombies. I have also learned that one of the best vehicles when on the run from zombies is a simple bicycle.
bludgeon (v) -- to hit repeatedly with a blunt object.
accumulate (v) -- to gather objects together
Bludgeoning is potentially a good method of dispatching a zombie.
In order to survive a zombie infestation, you need to accumulate many supplies.
